Young Community

If you've had an Arts Emergency mentor, when you turn 18 you'll be able to join our Young Community and we'll support you until your 26th birthday.

If you have any questions about our Young Community, please contact our Community Manager, Korantema.

Wish List

As part of the Young Community you will be able to make requests for advice, resources and opportunities from our support network which is made up of over 7,000 creative and cultural professionals from across the country.

Opportunities

As well as having access to the Wish List requests, our Young Community can apply for exclusive opportunities provided by our generous Network members. You can apply for new opportunities every month via the Young Community monthly newsletter.

Peer Networking

We work with a variety of different creative organisations and volunteers to organise workshops, trips and opportunities for you to meet each other.

You also have access to the Young Community Discord so you can connect online and collaborate with other members.

Youth Collective

We provide our Youth Collective with training and support so that they can develop their own advocacy, activism and community work. The collective is made up of a small group of our young people who meet regularly to devise projects.

If you want to get more involved with the work of Arts Emergency every year you’ll have the chance to apply to join our Youth Collective, look out for your chance to sign up in your monthly newsletter.

Work Placements

As well as work experience, you will have the opportunity to apply for paid internships and other creative briefs. If you want to let us know what kind of work experience you're looking for complete the work experience request form.
